VCCA Southern Spring Tours provide owner-drivers of Vintage Chevy a chance to come together to tour new locales while driving their restored antique cars. Over the years, the Southern Spring Tour has grown to include fifty to one-hundred vehicles and turned into a five-day event which culminates with an evening banquet. Having planned five previous tours including the very first Southern Spring Tour held inKevin Olmstead proposed bringing the tour to San Angelo due to many and varied tour sites in this area.

The Mann and Hedegaard families stand by their vintage Chevrolet cars. The vintage car enthusiasts represented several states, including Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Washington, Iowa and many others. This year's tour is staying in Altoona and is visiting surrounding Iowa towns. This was the first day of their tour.
